Glass bead blasting & powder coating Baby Blake toilet

Hello,

I need some advice from you for overhauling the Baby Blake toilet on my Swan 38.

Our Baby Blake's painting has been cracked here and there. I consulted my friend from the car workshop and he adviced to blast toilets metal parts with glass beads. From the the paint workshop I got a proposal to paint these parts with powder coating after blasting.

Do you have any experience or knowledge about these options or do you have offer something better solutions?

Dear Henry,

we just had our Baby Blake completely overhauled. We had the chrome parts simply rechromed in a specialised workshop, paintwork on the lid was resprayed.

More important, we had the complete interior system replaced with new parts delivered by Blake.

The toilet looks new and works as ever before!

Succes!

Hi Henri,

it's the best way to do it: blast and repaint. Make sure to find the right "white". It's a creamy white not a cool blue one. You'll love the result!

Best,
