I am attaching a pic of a broken Furlex, two years old, which went apart in 35 kn of wind!
Please check yours very carefully.
The owner (he asked me not to put his and his S&S Swan name on the forum) complained with Furlex because this piece of hardware broke in a 35 kn breeze, but they said it was not original piece because it did not have "Furlex" stamped on it (he bought the Furlex two years before and it arrived with that attachment), so he bought a new Furlex spare from a Furlex approved shop, and they sent a brand new piece, slightly modified...but not stamped "Furlex"...
If you have a Furlex furler, PLEASE check it very very carefully
