Swan 38 Replacement of Shaft Tube
We are in the process of a refit in NZ and are putting in a new PPS seal, however there is some crevice corrosion to the stainless shaft tube
We want to replace with fibre glass shaft tube
The old stainless tube has alot on bonding wires attached to a welded stud
Could I relocate these wires to bronze grounding plate used for the ground on the SSB
The wires attached come from 1 the P bracket 2 The backstay 3 The engine ground 4 Goes to the I beam that also grounds the chain plates and the stem fitting

Any help would be appreciated
