Swan 41 front cabin

I want to improve the front cabin on my 41, to make it more friendly for living in for 1 person for long periods. The fold down pipe cots are OK ( I have slept on them), but not very comfortable. I want to make a single bunk, with perhaps a storage shelf. Ideally I would like to retain the option of retrofitting the pipe cots in case a future owner wants the original layout. Access to the sail bins must be retained. My anchor chain goes forward of the forward bulkhead, not down a pipe betweeen the pipe cots as I have seen on other 41s.

Can anyone post any photos to give me ideas?

Hello,

Here is a pic of an interesting solution for the fore cabin that you might find interesting.

Cheers

Dear Philippe, it is an interesting solution.
I do not understand how do you hav access to the locker at the link.
Did you fix a hinge in the center of the double berth?
alternatively, a small vertical door at the left? how can you stock the sails?
Thank you very much,
Matteo
