Hello friends ! big week for Algol, leaving the shed and getting her mast back after 20 months … happy how she looks ! yves  Algol leaving the shed after a loooong time  Algol gets her renewed mast  Mast in place and new teak out for first time ! |

After three primary epoxy primer coats and two antifouling, Algol is now ready to float again (if she remembers) after 20 months out…    |

Algol (57-007) went back in water (and not on…) on thursday april 28 !!! After 20 months on the hard, the engine restarted finaly and we went at sea for some positive testings… Now back in Badalona for interiors and electronics finishing, release planned mid june, we cross fingers !!! Very pleased of her new looking, now ! Yves  Will you float again ?  No leaks !!!  Back in harbour after engine tests |

Algol should be delivered end of june. Now delayed end of july… we see the light at the end of the tunel but its hard to get it !!! happy summer season to all ! Yves / Algol V 57-007   |

hi friends ! one more update in the "never ending" refit of 57-007... we are on august 26, and still not ready to leave the yard... on september 10 it will be two years in NSGS Badalona yard ! Algol doesnt look the same as her arrival, and is technicaly far more safe and efficient, but now I would appreciate to sail a bit before next winter.... still some works to finish inside, and still some missing details outside... Thanks Lintu and Bachatelle for the bimini position benchmark, it is really a good choice, I dont know whom had the idea first !!! Yves .jpg) still not everything in place... .JPG) running rigging at mast complete, a bit too much !!! .JPG) bimini position... and Paco asking where will we put this dinghy ? |

Hi Yves, thank you for sharing Algol's status, she does look very beautiful but I can understand your frustrations with regard to the delay! What's the main problem - manpower/resources or lead times on parts? We (on a much smaller scale and non-critical items, luckily) found that getting parts seems to take ages these days. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you'll be able to take her out at least for an extended trial run this year ... All the best and fair winds, Stefan Kairos 57/043 |

Hi Stefan, a bit of everything… but now we are chasing details ad little miistakes to be corrected… it's long, but soon finished, I hope a week trial in october , before winterisation… fair winds all yves    |
