Binnacle parts and brake pads
I have a 73 Swan 44. I wanted to replace the bearings and put new brake pads on. Edson sells rebuilding kits but after see pictures they said the it is not their model. Where can I get parts of this vintage. Does anyone know who the binnacle manufacturer was that Swan used when they built the S&S Swans?

Thanks

Dear Ken

these parts were, as almost of the Swan parts, home made at the Nautor Shipyard, this is one of the reason why they lasted for nearly forty years, no compromise in quality! Try to ask Nautor if they can supply new ones, it's likely to be expensive but worth the cost, otherwise you have to find someone who could make them for you.

Fair winds!
