Starter motor for Perkins 4108
Anyone know where I can source a new starter motor for my Perkins 4108 (ideally in France or the UK)?

Right now there is one on sale on ebay UK: item Nr. 320265877321.
Aside from that it should be fairly simple to find one in UK or have yours rebuilt. The Perkins Part Number you need is NA000623.

Hello.
Not knowing what the problem of your starter is can lead to a wrong answer. But... have you thought of changing the brushes, or rewiring? A good motor electrician could do the job, this is what we did and it worked fine...

Thanks for that. I have now found one in France. My existing one has a badly corroded casing so we decided to replace it rather than recondition.
