Looking to buy a S&S swan but never been on one My girl friend and I own and race a Lightning at the Monmouth Boat club. We are looking for a larger boat to cruise on, while not loosing that S&S racing spirit. We are considering a Swan 41, 411 and the 44. My parents owned a Pearson 35 and last Thanksgiving we chartered a Beneatea 363 in St Marteen. The characters of these two boats were extremely different in moderate seas. We are looking for some one in the Manhattan/Hoboken area who could take us out, just for a brief day sail, so we could get a feeling of the sea motion of the Swans. The brokers we have contacted tell us we can't get a ride until we put down a deposit on their boat |
