Treatment of Crevice Crack Corrosion
The stainless steel fin on my keel has CCC. The cause is likely a mixture of oxygen and water.
1. How can I successfully bond onto stainless? Every year we repair by putting on filler; every year some falls, off opening up the SS to oxygen and water.

2. Would bonding the keel bolts to an anode be of any help?

We have painted the keel successfully last year. On the stainless steel is we used Nautix PE epoxy primer. On the lead we used Nautix acrulu and after that five layers of Nautix PE over the entire keel. Picture and text (dutch): Painting the keel (use Google translate)
