Asymetric Spinnaker set on Swan 43
For all of you who had posted questions previously regarding the use of an asymetric spinnaker on the older Swans here is a recent photo of Swan 43/46 "Hiro Maru" with asymetric spinnaker set in 23 knots of breeze.

Spinnaker tack line is led through the removable tack pin on the stem fitting for the genoa back to a block and tackle on the fore deck to enable tack line adjustment. The boat is sailing steady and under full control (as a Swan would).

This photo shows us leading a 1983 Baltic 38.

Fair winds,

Hiro Nakajima

Hello,
Very recently I fitted a gennaker on a furler. It is about 115 s.m. And it deploys and furls beautifully and with minimum effort. A great addition to Farouche sail wardrobe.
