Canada Does anyone have experience of importing a S&S Swan into Canada? Apparently there is an import duty and harmonised sales tax in Ontario Many thanks Tom Barth 38/111

I just recently imported my boat in to Canada (Ontario). The duty was 9.5% of the evaluation for tax ($40,000 more than the purchase price) The GST was 7% of the purchase price. I paid $400.00 for brokerage. I used White & White Customs Brokers because they have a long history of working with Andrews Trucking importing boats. Douglas Svastal - Swan 47/57 "Till"
