on board "toge" it's time to say Good-Bye to 1979 B&G and to replace as well the whole onboard electrical equipment.
The number of estimated working hours for this are very much varying in different quotations.
To those of us who have already renewed this: How much time did it take? It seems that it may take app. 45 hours of replacing the electronics (old devices and cables out, new cables in mast and boat in, cut out one log and two sounders in the hull, close the old holes, cut new hole for new log, put electronics together).
All wiring out and replacing everything (incl. lightning protection, main cables to/from battery etc.), assembling of everything at the switch panel) is estimated with app. 75 hours.
Any thoughts / experiences on this?
Thank you very much in advance!
