Heating pipes

Hi,

I have a boat that was built in the 1976. Does anybody know what the pipes for heating are made of? They look like paper on the outside are grey and have a metal interior. 

Any info if there is a risk that asbestos has ever been used in these?

Dear Peter,

no asbestos in those pipes, they are aluminum inside and paper outside. Still made this materials nowadays (Webasto/Eberspacher).
