Mast profil dimensions swan 47

Mallemuk is on transit from Asia to the Med. The very experienced skipper (Made this trip more than anyone else) had a collision with a large vessel on anchor in dark hours  - No light or AIS on the entrance to Suez.

The sad result is that my mast has got severe damage and is beyond repair.

Do any of you know the profile dimensions on the mast profile for a Swan 47? Just the outer dimension would be a great help.

Dear Bjorn,

as you know the yard does not share technical drawings anymore, for a "company protection policy", and without Lars Strom some important data are not available anymore, and unless the policy will change won't forever.

Luckily our S&S Swan community is strong and among more than 600 members worldwide there is an exchange of information.

Anyway I will onboard Vanessa in three days and will get the measurments for you!

Unfortunately the situation have turned from bad to catastrophic.

Mallemuk is insured with Edward William Yach insurance.

It turns out that if a mast is more than 20 years old, it has zero value in their books. Having a classic Swan with original mast means zero payout from insurance in this case.
