Dimensions of the deck collar John Mast in Denmark is in the process of making a new mast to Mallemuk.
In that connection they are going to make a new rubber mast boot.
They therefore need the dimension of the deck collar. I am far from Mallemuk and not able to measure this. Are there any of you who have these measurements or drawing of the deck collar for Swan 47? (Maybe they were standard and all same dimensions for all the various hull sizes)
Best regards, Bjorn Mallemuk 47/045 ![]() |

Hi Bjorn I had exactly the same issue with resealing the mast partners on Swan 411/022. The solution was to use Spartite that is a pourable 2 pack material that sets like hard and flexible rubber. You'll need a large pack that will probably cost around pounds sterling 600. Ensure you receive a fresh shipment as my first lot had already hardened in the can. Here's a photo of the freshly poured Spartite. The tube of Vaseline was used to coat the mast in the seating area to prevent the mast sticking to the Spartite that will enable easier mast removal in future. Good luck!
