Names and pseudo-names

Dear Friends,

May I voice an opinion about our way of signing our messages. It is my own private and very personal opinion:

I find it less appealing to engage in conversations with "nicknames" than with persons (personae) with names. What I am saying here is not meant to be directed towards somebody or to be agains anyone in particular. This is a general call. Having nicknames have no practical implications for the forum, and I do acknowledge that. However, I do personally feel that there is a more authentic communication between persons than between anonymous nicknames.

I might be the only person in this forum with such a "daring" opinion. In such case, I declare that I make no apologies for it.

Cheers

Yours truly Philippe Daudi

Dear Carlo

do not forget to join the S&S Swan Association once you've bought "your" S&S Swan 43 (and remember we are already organizing the 5° S&S Swan Rendez-vous scheduled for July 2011, in Marciana Marina...)

Fair wind and...finger crossed...!
