FUEL CAPACITY SWAN 40
Has anyone ever measured the precise capacity of the Swan 40's fuel tank ? The official figure is 150 litres but that doesn't seem to correspond to tie in with my fuel gauge and re-fuelling schedule.
Thanks

Richard, on my 411 officially the figure is 130 litres but 120 seems a more likely figure.  Not sure if this helps you.

Richard .

I think John is correct that for the 411 at least, fuel capacity graph is somewhat inaccurate.

The only safe way to ensure you know how much fuel you have, is to recalibrate the gauge or dipstick, by starting with an empty, or near empty tank and adding fuel in 10 litre steps, taking readings as you go.

Richard,

I have measured the capacity of the fule tank in my Swan 40 (Sunniva V,#36) and found it to be 120 l.
