About ladder on swan 38
Hi everybody, seeing the photos on the web, and thinking about the easy way to go in water for bath and to go on the dock, I saw that nobody have gangway on the stern, so what's the way you use? if you use a gangway, where you put when sailing?
And for the ladder to?
Thank you very much.
Bye.

Hello Enzo.

Here is how we proceed on our 41

To go swimming we have a side folding ladder which folds and stores in the cockpit locker. (the latter originally built for the liferaft and modified)

For the gangway we have a simple 2m wooden board which we store on its side along one of the saloon settees (or bunks as you wish). A lock placed in its middle keeps it in place. It is probably a bit short, and rather rugged but he only lost place in the boat corresponds to the thickness of the board...

happy sailing.
