Neco NM 692 Autopilot
I have a problem with the autopilot, the motor responds normally but the clutch isnt engaging the drive..have changed fuses. I am taking the whole drive out and returning to Uk tomorrow does anyone know who can look at this for me urgently as I am delivering boat in 2 weeks single handed to Mallorca? Also has anyone a spare drive unit as a back up to buy?

Hi

 

Thanks Derek Coventry in the Uk looking at it, turned out to be a broken shaft, now with a man in Lymington UK to do a gearbox rebuild but looks promising, very kind offers of drive from tour contacts Daniel, but no 24V, all 12v so still looking for 24v if anyone knows of a spare drive.

Also thinking of fitting a second autopilot, what does anyone think of B&G system?
