Making longer messages more readable, fonts etc.
I think in the past I have posted longer notes, but when I have, the message appears more or less as I type it, with paragraph breaks etc. But today I put up two long posts where there are no paragraph breaks and that makes the posts almost unreadable. I wonder if anyone can tell me what I am doing wrong - I didn't change anything on my computer (Macbook Air), and in reading around what's here, didn't see where I can really adjust much anyway.

Help?

Thanks,

Geoff

Dear Geoff,

sorry, that's a software foult. I have Mac too, and I have to type HTML caracters to have paragraph breaks. I tried to solve this with my software guru, but was not able, the forum has been designed by PC man for PC users and is not "Mac -and Safari- friendly...!.

To get a full stop and a new line you have to type the four caracters you see below (twice if you want to get an empty line, as I am doing after this sentence)

Sorry about that!

Hi Geoff, Just thought I'd let you know that both of your long posts came up with paragraph breaks on my computer (old Mac 10.4), and were easy to read. But happy to have the trick from Matteo for the future...

Dear Friends,

I am so sorry! Until a few years ago I have been working with a PC, and I still have one of the old machine with windows XP installed, and it works well with it (I tried yesterday), otherwise all of my computers are Mac and relatives (ipad and iphone), and there's nothing to do if not to type the four characters (see image above), twice if you want an empty line.

Sorry about that!

Fair winds!
