Holding tank Swan 41: Hello everyone! After our discussions last winter on this topic it thought some of you could be interested by some feed back. So here are a few pictures of our final installation which works fine. Holding tank is stainless steel, located under the starboard bunk in the rear cabin, content is 100 lit to 120 liters. All pipes are on the top. Pump is a Whale Gulper. The space taken in the toilet'cupboard seems important but it's not really the case. Thank you again for the information received through the forum. Kind regards. Philippe 41/022 |

Hi Matteo. I only doubled the clamps which are close to the water surface as we always sail with all sea walves closed. The piping is exactly as recommended by Lars, but for the time being there is no extraction via the deck, only pumping to the sea is available. The bronze inlet corresponds to a direct fresh water inlet: very useful I thought to clean the tank at the end of the season. Kind regards, and already looking forward to the next meeting in Tuscany!
