Question for Lars - Swan 411
Lars
At the front of the cockpit under the step to the bridge deck there are three fixing bolts that hold the deck and hull joint together. This is one of the areas that allows water ingress if the bolts either become loose or the sealant looses its integrity. Were these bolts fitted to hold the joint during the glassing process and are now redundant or are they still essential to maintain boat integrity?
Happy New Year Lars

Marvin,
Lars will reply with more knowledge but, as another 411 owner, you raised my curiosity. To be frank I do not understand what you mean and I wish you could post pictures.

Regards
Daniel, 411-004

David

Thank you for the greetings - same to you, and to all Forum members.

I am surprised to hear that there is a joint, agree with Daniel that a picture would be helpful.

Kind regards

Lars
