There have been several discussions on the Swan 41 on this forum and it might be worth looking through those. This is a very good and beautiful boat with few vices that is well made and very safe at sea. They have done well in racing and were originally fitted with two different rigs - one with a single set of spreaders and one with a double set.

The 41 is a wonderful boat. We have the tall rig version. It has the best characteristics of an S&S Swan. Stiff, swift, handsome, plows upwind. Highly recommended. I would be careful about buying one that needs new teek decks, as that is a major investment. |

We have been in ours for 8 years, and long distance world cruising for 1.5 years. It is all of the things the other posts have said. The forward bunks can be converted to a v-berth, but the unusual entry hatch is always going to be that way. You either love it or don't - we love it. Both the entry and the boat.
