Swan 38 purchase

Hello Folks,

I am going to look at a Swan 38 in France at Easter.

Can anyone advise of any particular things I should look at to determine how she has been treated in the past.?

I really hope this one is a good one, I have seen so many neglected / badly maintained Swans in the past few years.

HM,
One of the points I would check primarily is the grid mast structure within the bilge pump area... in addition to all basic elements, which need to be survey anyway. That would be one of the most important area of the boat which indicates if attention to detail and maintenance was given during the years...... or should I say decades..... The rest is pretty strait forward depending on how much money you are ready to spend according to what you find....
Is she the one in Brittany, being on yachtworld??? If that is the one she lost his wonderful wooden deck along the way?
Let us know.... always good to know what is aound.....
