Centreboard rebuild
We had been very pleased with the centreboard arrangement on Black Tie our 47 (we would often put it down at anchor to reduce rolling) so it was a big selling point when we were buying the 76 Tigris. The only problem was the board was getting stuck in the slot. We had it removed with the highest lift - she draws 15 feet with the board down and removed the board. We had the board rebuilt by Jamestown Boatyard and they also reduced the thickness of the delrin bearings in order to ensure it now moves freely but still doesn't wobble. This is it on a trailer and it will be refitted new week.
